Notes
An Iberian endemic that grows wild on poor, stony ground across Portugal, with white woolly flower heads and a camphor-and-eucalyptus scent. Give it full sun and sharp drainage; overwatering kills it. The traditional herb for curing olives, and good with grilled meat, rice and cheese; its old name sal-puro comes from its use to cut down on salt.
